Alissa White-Gluz

Alissa was a lead singer in The Canadian metalcore group The Agonist. She currently sings for the Swedish melody-death metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31 1984) is an Canadian singer and songwriter, who is most famous as the lead vocalist for the Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy, and former the lead singer and founding member of The Agonist, a Canadian metalcore band the Agonist. The style of her voice is a mix of singing and growling (singing). Though she's mostly associated with melodic death metal and metalcore and metalcore, she has performed as singer-in-residence for various power metal, symphonic music and deathcore, including Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf, and has performed live in concert with Nightwish as well as Tarja Turunen. White-Gluz (2004-2014). The year was 2004 and White-Gluz, along with fellow members Danny Marino, Chris Kells created The Agonist from Montreal, Quebec.
