Lisa Edelstein, an American actress who is best recognized for her role in House which is a Fox medical drama. Growing up with Jewish conservatives in Wayne, New York City was where she set her sights to study acting at Tisch. She was soon involved in the club scene, creating enough of a stir that she caught the attention of the media. She used both her musical training and fame to write and perform in a musical of her own, Positive Me. She landed her first job at MTV as anchor of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. She began to appear in TV and film productions following the end of the series. Initially, she was in smaller roles.
