Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born in South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. Both her parents were both English. Her family was raised on a south London council estate and attended The Brit School at age fourteen. She was a student of acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While attending the academy, she performed in numerous stage productions, including The King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career began in the series Storm Damage. Over the past few years Madekwe's appearance in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe landed her first motion-picture role in the Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. In the following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. The ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe was a part of the comedic How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). Her credits in theatre include Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut on the drama series The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes for The CW before being cancelled. In February 2011, she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. After appearing on the show for the initial two seasons it was announced in May 2013 that Madekwe was set to quit the show following her appearance on the first episode in the season's third. The actress portrayed Tituba in the television series Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. The two have collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he was also on the show with Madekwe in the television series Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress who was raised in the large family. She was the daughter of Roy and Patty Leggat. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty and her other siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's brothers were athletic and played baseball during summers and hockey during winters. Ashley could not walk but was able to dance. In the end, when she turned 2 She discovered Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley continued to dance competitively until her high-school graduation with top divisions like ballet, tap, Jazz Pointe, Acrobatics, Pointe Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and much more. Top soloists at important competitions like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
