Sofia Pernas, a Moroccan born in California who grew up in Orange County, moved there in the age of five. Her breakout moment began in 2015. She graduated in 2015 with a an education from the University of California San Diego. Pernas was a popular actress who made minor appearances on NCIS as well as Leverage prior to landing the role as Marisa on The Young and the Restless, was a familiar face in the soap-opera. The actress, who left this soap at the end of 2016 took on the role of Catalina who is a regular character on Jane the Virgin. The model, who can speak several languages is now on The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. She played Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure from 2019 to 2020. Us Weekly reported in May 2020, that Pernas was in a relationship with Justin Hartley from The Young and the Restless. The relationship was announced just after that the This Is Us star split from Chrishell Stause's wife in November of 2019. In May 2021, news came out that Pernas Hartley has recently tied the knot in secret.
