Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a sixteen year old American who was born in Miami Florida. The child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former bank executive, as well as Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. The daughter is an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother is of Spanish and English ancestry. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. They lived at Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria part in London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult, and she did not take the time to learn English, hoping to go back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after switching from Northlands. Later she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. After 16 she quit school in order to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an actor began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first person to hire her as an experienced model.
